In addition to these two primary manufacturing processes, there are also several variations and hybrid approaches that can be used to produce WPC decking. For example, some manufacturers use a process called co-extrusion, which involves extruding multiple layers of material with different properties to create a WPC board with improved performance characteristics. Other manufacturers use a process called injection molding, which involves injecting a mixture of plastic and wood fibers into a mold under high pressure.
