Every classic solution has a point where it starts to fail. A WPC terrace is designed so that point never appears.

Solid wood

It looks flawless in year 1. From year 2, cracks and stains appear, and from year 3 onward you need sanding and varnish every single year.

Stamped concrete

The pattern cracks through freeze-thaw cycles and visibly fades within 2-3 years. Local repairs always remain visible on the surface.

Tiles on pedestals

The joints between tiles crack within 1-3 years. Tiles can break on impact depending on quality, and replacing one is always noticeable.

Natural stone

Expensive to buy and install. It becomes slippery with moss and needs repeated cleaning and waterproofing treatments.

We source WPC profiles directly from European manufacturers and install them ourselves — we do not just sell them. We have seen what happens to wooden terraces after three winters, so we chose to work exclusively with a material that does not need yearly maintenance.

The WPC board we use has internal chambers rather than a solid cast core — but those internal walls are engineered for long-term rigidity, not just material savings. It is easier to handle and it sits on a WPC substructure too, not on treated wood that is the first thing to rot under your feet.

The result: a terrace that looks the same in year 5 as it did on day one, without a single hour of maintenance in between.

In terms of quality, warranty and durability, no — all three finishes are identical. They differ only visually, depending on what fits your house and garden.
